Research Interests
My research interests are
  1. Analytical study on numerical algorithms and qualitative properties for the mean curvature flow and its application to the image processing
  2. Analytical study on numerical algorithms and qualitative properties for the free boundary problems of elliptic/parabolic variational inequalities arising from mathematical finance
  3. Eignevalue problems for nonlinear elliptic partial differential equations
Message for Students
We can apply mathematics to many fields such as physics, chemistry, biology, technology, economics and so on. I welcome the students who are interested in mathematics itself and/or some applications of mathematics.
Research Areas
Nonlinear analysis (especially, nonlinear partial differential equations)
