Prof. Yamaji KAZUYO Appointed Review Editor for the IPCC
Professor Kazuyo Yamaji just returned from the third Lead Author Meeting for the IPCC 2027 Methodology Report on SLCF Inventories at the FAO headquarters in Rome.
There, she is playing a key role in developing the global standards for emission estimation, providing the vital scientific foundation required for coordinated international climate policy.
It is a great honor to have Prof. Yamaji on the IMaRC team, as she epitomizes the essential role that scientists can play in the World, to make it a better and more sustainable place for all of us.
Professor Yamaji has dedicated many years to studying atmospheric cycles and source-receptor relationships, with a particular focus on SLCFs and their impact on air quality and climate across Japan, China, India, the Arctic, etc.
