Last Update 2010.04.28

Faculty of Maritime Sciences conducted a training program for 6 undergraduate students at California Maritime Academy on last September. Led by the students who had the training in California, "English Lunchtime Cafe" for International students and Japanese students has been held once a week since January 2010.

The lunchtime cafe will be open every Wednesday from May 12 as follows, after a 3-month break because of examination and spring vacation.

Date: Every Wednesday from May 12 to July 14, 12:10-13:20

Venue: SC room (1F), Academic Exchange Center on Fukae campus

(June 16 and 23: Conference room (1F), Academic Exchange Center on Fukae campus)

Rules are so simple. Please bring your lunch and enjoy talking in English.
This cafe is open to all students! No prior registration is required.

Currently, undergraduate students from 2nd-year to 4th-year and graduate students of Maritime Sciences are participating.

International students from China, Indonesia and Turkey have joined the cafe so far. Japanese students and International students had fun talking about "home town" and "culture". In addition, they enjoyed cherry-blossom viewing on March 28.

If you have any questions, please contact Associate Professor OKADA Junko (International Exchange Committee member).
