The 3rd International Symposium of Maritime Sciences was held

The 3rd International Symposium of Maritime Sciences was held at Fukae Campus from November 10 to 14, 2014. This symposium was hosted by Nippon Kaiji Kentei Kyokai, the Graduate School of Maritime Sciences of Kobe University, and The Maritime Science Promotion Foundation of Kobe University for students and researchers studying in the field of Maritime Sciences. This year, we invited 4 keynote speakers to participate in the Symposium, along with students and researchers from institutions in 10 countries. During the Symposium, more than 100 people, including staffs and presenters, attended and discussed each Maritime Science topic that was presented. After the presentations, participants enjoyed a campus tour and cultural exchange provided by Kobe University students. All the participants had a pleasant stay in Kobe, and enjoyed the international exchanges.
