Workshop "Maritime Policy and Port Development in the EU and Japan"

The Maritime Industry Section of International Maritime Research Center, IMARC  , Graduate School of Maritime Sciences, Kobe University,has been conducting a study of the global logistics and transport problems from the viewpoints of economic efficiency, environmental sustainability and risk management. The study plans of this year are logistic field research in Thailand and international workshop regarding to the maritime policy in EU and Japan in cooperation with EU Institute in Japan, Kansai.

In the present workshop, we invite two European professionals from Erasmus University, Netherlands, and one professor from Kansai University, Japan. We will focus our attention to understand the current situation and obtain the prospects of maritime policy in the EU and Japan for the sake of our future study.
