Research Interests
Safety assessment of ships and offshore structures in severe condition is a major research topic, and is performed from both of model experiments and numerical simulations. Current research projects are on; 1) prediction of ship motions in extreme winds and waves, 2) survivability assessment of damaged ships and flooding simulations, 3) nonlinear behaviour of floating wind farms in typhoon condition, 4) safety assessment of oil tanks against Tsunami attack, and so on.
